Foodservice Industry Association (FIA)
Background:
The Food Industry Association is a non-profit organisation formed in 1985 to organise and manage Hospitality and Catering Expos throughout regional NSW. The events provide an opportunity for members and non-members to promote their products and services to all sectors of the foodservice and associated industries.The primary objective of FIA in working with 2 Creative Media was to re-position the FIA brand as proactive not re-active and improve current market perception. The re-brand was to deliver attributes of progression, vitality and innovation and further reinforce the position of FIA as an industry leader.
Solution:
2 Creative Media worked closely with the FIA Board, all of whom had various backgrounds and food industry experience to develop the re-brand for FIA. Project deliverables included Re-brand/Logo design, Re-brand Launch management, Tradeshow Marketing Items including display, lanyard and promotional item design, Corporate Stationery Suite design and Website design and development. Whilst delivering on the initial design brief and subsequent design projects, the Re-brand Launch night in particular instilled a sense of ownership and pride amongst existing members for the Re-brand and reinforced loyal brand ambassadors for FIA. The website provided an efficient and engaging interface between FIA and its members and has delivered a valuable tool to grow membership and manage tradeshow activities. The Re-brand provided FIA with an unprecedented level of brand visibility and continues to position FIA as an industry leader.
Results:
The re-brand has successfully re-positioned FIA within the market, creating a benchmark for other associations within the industry to aspire to. In particular FIA has experienced new confidence with their website in managing tradeshow exhibitors and servicing existing members which has become an efficient and measurable workflow. Acquiring tradeshow exhibitors early, managing bookings and promotional activities have all been streamlined and are delivering positive responses and generating new memberships daily.
