SAMSUNG'S NOT-SO-SUBTLE SPONSORED VIDEOS

To promote their latest phone, Samsung has taken to the new viral video sharing app TikTok with their #SubtlySponsoredPost campaign, where they invited TikTok users to create their own sponsored videos through their original video 'teaching' users how to make subtly sponsored videos, which ultimately, weren't all that subtle.

Each entry has a chance to be one of five winners of a Samsung Galaxy A70 smartphone, and people have already uploaded some wonderfully obvious sponsored videos.

 
 

Samsung aren't afraid to make a joke about traditional marketing while at the same time challenging the stereotype and utilising the latest social media platforms through its active users.

The hashtag #SubtlySponsoredPost has already received 40 million views on TikTok.
